Hunan Electronic and Information Industry Group Co., Ltd. (“HEC”), located at Lu Valley of Changsha High-Tech Technology Development Zone, was founded in 1996, with its registered capital reaches 634MRMB. The company, one of the first provincial large-scaled enterprises supervised and administrated by State-owned Assets supervision and administration Commission of Hunan Provincial People’s Government, is held by Hunan Economic Construction Investment Company and joined by Changsha Economic Construction Investment Company. After the separation of government functions from enterprise management in 2001, the system of legal person management was founded and thus the company began to be operated under the guidance of the modern corporate system. Under the leadership of the provincial committee and provincial government, and with the strong support of the shareholders, the company earnestly carries on the spirit of the Sixteen CPC Congress, and, according to the management guideline of ‘extending and solidating the business of the company’ , persists in using IT to propel industrialization, which will, in turn, stimulate IT application. In addition, we try actively to attract investment from overseas, cooperate with MNCs like LG and Philips, and colleges and research institutions. And we also take part in the great projects in the province, especially those about the investment and operation of electronic information industry projects, and thus quickly push the industrialization of the outcome of the scientific research. At present, there are leading industry fields in HEC, namely, display devices, electronic materials, IT industry, and industries related to electronic information such as system equipment manufacture, intellectual engineering and modern logistics, etc.
